Trinity booked a semi final berth of the Under 19 inter-school Twenty20 cricket tournament with an easy 102 run win over Gurukula MV Kelaniya in the encounter played at the SSC grounds yesterday. Kumar Sangakkara resigns as the captain

Kumar Sangakkara posted a post on his personal blog “Sanga Writes” that he is stepping down as the captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team after the forthcoming cricket series with Australia and England.
