The under 19 Trinity Cricket team is on fire. Trinity advanced to the quarter finals of the Under 19 Twenty20 cricket tournament with a comfortable 72 run win over De Mazenod Kandana in the pre-quarter final encounter played at Asgiriya. Kumar Sangakkara resigns as the captain

Kumar Sangakkara posted a post on his personal blog “Sanga Writes” that he is stepping down as the captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team after the forthcoming cricket series with Australia and England.
